Think of the extender solution as a clear coat for your airbrush tattoo. When properly applied, the clear coat will wear off leaving the ink to look good for another day.
 

  Apply the extender solution over the inked area taking care to avoid the unpainted skin. It is best to do this before removing the stencil. After applying the extender solution, lightly dust the area with baby powder to set the solution. When applying the extender solution, make sure you dab it or airbrush it over the inked area. Don't rub it. The extender solution will dissolve the ink when it is wet.

 The Extender/Topcoat solution is also the perfect choice for thinning the ink with minimum loss of coverage and durability. (Remember that any thinning of the ink will affect coverage and durability.)
