These prosthetic wounds are designed to represent the stigmata—the marks left on Christ’s hands following the Crucifixion, as seen after the Resurrection. Each piece features a dark, recessed central wound surrounded by bruised and irritated flesh tones, creating the appearance of an old but severe injury that has begun to heal.
The uneven edges and hand-painted coloration give every prosthetic a slightly different appearance, helping the wounds look organic rather than perfectly uniform. The deep burgundy and brown centre suggests a closed or healing puncture wound, while the reddish tissue around it adds depth and realism.
Ideal for Jesus Christ portrayals, Passion plays, Easter and Resurrection productions, biblical theatre, film, cosplay, and religious reenactments.
